It’s been over two years since we all had the chance to connect at the Maximo Utility Working Group Conference – and I miss you! The MUWG is one of my favorite opportunities to connect with clients and the Maximo community.
Since that time –
- Maximo Application Suite has been introduced
- Maximo has been renamed to Manage
- Numerous exciting new feature sets have been added in Maximo
- And the Tampa Bay Lightning won back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships!
And while we’ve still be able to stay virtually connected through Starboard’s MAS Webinars, 10-minute Tech tips, and Work Center Webinars – who knew I would become “the webinar lady” – it’s time to reconnect in person at the upcoming Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG) conference April 25 – 28 in Austin, Texas!
The agenda is full of great, informational sessions being led by Maximo clients and IBMers with the theme “Back to Business – Get to the MAX with Maximo”. The client sponsor is Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and their Keynote presentation is on “Powering Central Texas Now and Into the Future!” This is followed by over 40 unique Maximo presentations and discussions as well as access to an IBM Demo Room!
I’ll be facilitating a network panel discussion on “Transformational Mobility Trends with Maximo” Tuesday, April 26 at 1pm with Maximo clients from LCRA, CoServ and NYPA. Don’t miss this dynamic, engaging discussion as we explore a variety of mobile topics including Challenges, Success Stories, Future Trends and more!
I’ll also be leading the MUWG Supply Chain Training Session after the conference on Thursday, April 28th. In this training session, I’ll detail the Maximo feature set in this area including a Supply Chain Overview and Contracts / Strategic Planning / Tracking Transactions to Work Orders. Be sure to sign up for this Training session before the Conference starts.
